Very easily; every newsreader application has a "search" function allowing you to search for newsgroup by keyword (so that you can find matching newsgroup topics). Then once you open that particular newsgroup topic, a list of posts will be available, sortable by subject, from, date, etc. From there you can then search for postings by keyword (check your particular newsreader application on using the FIND or SEARCH function. Many newsreaders auto-decode yEnc and uuEncoded files (the encoding required to post to Usenet) to make it easier to download and view pictures.

Are there additional costs if I go over my download limit?
No; downloading will just stop when you've reached your download limit. If you want to upgrade your login to another level of downloading ability just contact us and we can configure your existing username to the level required.
